Continuing "A Million Tiny Things" - the little things he does that make a difference in my life...
(What is this? Click here to find out about the challenge)
That he always initiates date nights
That he encourages me in my writing
That he thanks me every single time I clean up
That he doesn't complain if we have sandwiches for dinner
His wisdom
That he brings out the garbage on garbage day
That he lets me control the channel changer
When he buys me lemon meringue yogurt
The way that he drives
The pancakes he makes
That he has a heart for giving
The way I feel in his arms
His incredible sense of humor

a million little things:
ReplyDeleteHe cooked dinner last night after working all day so I could run in to see a client last minute.
They way he wrestles and plays with out son before bed.
His hugs.
Your 'million tiny' things inspired me to write a 10 things list about my hubby! :)
ReplyDeletei love the way my husband brings me my morning coffee to wake me up.
ReplyDeleteThe way he smells because he almost always smells good!
The way he will help me cook, and if i'm not up to it, going out for take-out.
The way i usually get deference on restaurants (almost always Asian, lol).
The way he talks baby-talk to our chihuahua and takes him out for me when i'm not feeling well.
It's not always been an easy road but it's been well worth the travel!
I love this. I saw an idea on Pinterest that I put into action...I printed out out the words "I love you because..." on a wedding themed scrapbook paper and framed it. I use a dry erase marker, and every evening before I go to bed, I try to write down one thing that I love about my husband. The coffee pot is the first place my husband goes in the morning, so I'd like to think he is getting a little bit of encouragement before heading to work. The marker wipes right off of the glass frame. We have our ups and downs, and stresses, have recently experienced job loss and a new baby (at the same time)...it helps me too to actively keep in mind what great things my husband does for us.
